Why did the phone carrier flag my text message?
Phone carriers will block text messages that use any words that could be going against their compliance rules. Often times these can be normal words being used innocently, but get flagged by their filter. This is similar to how social media platforms filter communication to prevent inappropriate things from being posted. Sometimes the post is completely innocent, but the filter catches something that blocks it or flags it. As annoying as this is, the purpose of placing these types of filters on platforms that are used for reaching the masses like marketing platforms or social media platforms, is to attempt to protect the viewers from receiving/seeing something inappropriate. Filters are not perfect, but if these companies did not do this, you can imagine what our world would turn into… These filters are not put in place by MySuites Collective, however we believe it is important to understand the intention of the companies who are enforcing them - is to protect people and children.
Keeping this in mind when the phone companies flags something silly.. may help the inconvenience stink a little less.
