Your PinkSuite is your “house” and your e-wallet is what allows you to connect the “utilities” to your house. Just like when you buy or rent a house, it doesn’t automatically come with internet, you would sign up for an internet service that would allow you to use wifi inside of your house. The company who built your house, is not the company that provides the internet services.. you would use a different company to supply that service to your house.
The company who owns the communication servers that your PinkSuite uses to send and receive communication is called Twilio. They charge for all incoming and outgoing texts, calls, & emails. Think of them like the company who provides the “Internet service” to your PinkSuite house. All 2-way communication platforms have these same charges. Most platforms will charge you for a set amount of these communication credits regardless if you use them or not. Your PinkSuite - gives you your own e-wallet to load the amount of credits YOU want so that you only pay for the communication credits you use. It is important to always have a balance in your wallet for the credits to pull from so your communication is never interrupted. You will set an amount that you want your wallet to reload to when your credits begin to run low. Any charges you see on your bank statement from Rose CRM, are funds being reloaded to your wallet at the amount you set. The e-wallet is just using the software’s payment processor to load your wallet for you. It is NOT a charge coming from Rose, or form MySuites. It’s kind of like when you use PayPal to pay for something, and “PayPal” is what shows up on your bank statement instead of the company you purchased from.. PayPal just processed the payment.
Rose will load the balance into your e-wallet and Twilio charges your e-wallet for the communication that takes place in your PinkSuite.
Twilio has provided us with the following example to give us a breakdown of how much communication credits cost in your suite.
180 outgoing calls - $0.05 ($0.056) a call
295 incoming calls 180 outgoing calls - $0.03 ($0.034) a call
315 text segments - $0.03 ($0.032) a segment
1480 emails - $0.01 ($0.007) an email
2470 emails for Pro members - $0.01 ($0.004) an email {MySuites takes on some of the cost for Pro members on email as Pro members are more likely to do a higher volume of email marketing so we help share in some of the cost for Pro members. We are able to do this because they are paying a higher membership rate}
Facebook Messages & Instagram Messages are all free
Message that come in from the chat bubble on your Pink Site are free
The chat feature in your Pink Portal for Pro members is also free
1 segment is 160 letter characters
An Image counts as 1 segment by itself
The max characters that can be sent in one text message from your PinkSuite is 1600 characters. However some phone carriers will not allow text messages to go through to their clients that are over 320 characters. MySuites Collective cannot control what the individual phone carriers allow or do not allow to go through to their customers.
You can find a Text Segment Calculator in your Suite by going to your navigation menu > “Quick Access” > “Text Message Calculator”
Every business/house on our platform has to use an e-wallet for their “utilities”. Even MySuites Collective has an e-wallet we use to pay for our own communication credits we use to communicate with you.
Twilio charges us the same rates they charge you. The e-wallet transactions on our MySuites Collective bank account show up as Rose CRM charges, just like yours do.
You can see a detailed breakdown of all your transactions under “Settings” & “Company Billing”.
To learn more about your E-Wallet and the difference between what is covered by your PinkSuite subscription and what is covered by your E-Wallet, you can find an article on that HERE.
